Who we are

PixelWard ("we", "us") is a Shopify application that helps merchants migrate legacy checkout tracking scripts to Custom Pixels and monitors that tracking stays healthy. Contact: support@pixelward.app.

What we collect

From merchants: your shop domain, an alert email (defaults to your shop contact email, but you may set a different one in the app), and OAuth session data required by Shopify to run the app.

From your storefront: the monitoring pixel sends us only an event name (for example "page_viewed"), a timestamp, and an anonymous shop token. It contains no customer personal data, no order contents, no IP-based profiles, and no cookies set by us.

Scripts you paste: code submitted to the migration wizard is analyzed to generate replacement pixels and is not stored after the analysis response is returned.

What we never collect

We do not collect, store, or process your customers' personal information: no names, emails, addresses, payment details, or order line items.

How we use data

Shop data is used solely to operate the app: authenticating your store, generating replacement pixels, detecting silent trackers, and sending you alert emails. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Processors

We use Railway (hosting and database, USA/EU) and Resend (transactional email, USA). Both process data only on our instructions.

Retention and deletion

Heartbeat events are retained only as long as needed to power the health dashboard. When you uninstall the app, your sessions, account record, and heartbeat history are deleted. We honor Shopify's GDPR webhooks: shop data is erased automatically on the shop/redact request, and customer data requests return nothing because we hold no customer data.

Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of your shop's data at any time by emailing support@pixelward.app.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change; material changes are announced by email to installed shops.
